I’m looking forward to an internet event this October 11, in which I am teaming up with Mike Docherty of Venture2 to kick off a new Webinar series on Open Innovation.  We’ve been invited to create and deliver this series by Pure Insight, a business that helps other companies respond to global and competitive pressures by giving them access to first-hand accounts of innovation practices from around the world. 

Mike and I have already put together our first overview of the series titled, “What is Open Innovation?” It’s an introduction to a powerful approach to innovation and growth. We’ll be covering key tools for implementing Open Innovation, as well as critical success factors and resources.  

A side note: I’ve done Webinars in the past–both presenting and attending– and have found the process to be very user-friendly.  You can find all the technical requirements on the Pure Insight Web site. They also have a repository of past Webinars that you can download. If you’ve never participated in a Webinar before, I invite you to drop in.
