Innovationedge and Pure Insight to deliver Innovation Webinars

Neenah, Wis. (January 1, 2008) — Cheryl Perkins, President and Founder of Innovationedge, has announced a partnership with the UK-based research firm Pure Insight. The partnership will provide real-world insights and innovation best practices from thought-leading practitioners via a library of Web-based presentations.

Innovationedge will be the sole U.S. solutions provider to host Pure Insight Web seminars, or “Webinars,” which will enable corporate innovation leaders, inventors and entrepreneurs to access the most current innovation best practices right from their desktop.

The announcement comes the same day as the release of Hastings’s new book titled, Improve Your Marketing To Grow Your Business, in which Perkins shares her expertise on how building a new insights capability delivers innovation.

Jeff Lindsay Joins the Innovationedge Team

Lindsay, Ph.D., a leading researcher and expert in Intellectual Asset law and strategy, is joining the Innovationedge team.  As Director of Solutions Development, Lindsay will work with inventors from all over the world to bring their new-to-the-world solutions to market including products, services and new business models. He will leverage his expertise to align the solutions and their intellectual assets to the strategic business goals of each inventor.

Lindsay began his career as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology on the Georgia Tech Campus, where he was named Teacher of the Year in 1993 and received several Best Paper awards for his research. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, where he was a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow.  He currently chairs the BioProducts Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and has also chaired events for AIChE including RFID and smart packaging as well as serving as the Research Fellows Chair.  In his most recent role as a Corporate Patent Strategist and Senior Research Fellow at Kimberly-Clark, Lindsay developed and advanced the concept of “Disruptive Intellectual Asset Strategy,” where intellectual assets are used to overcome normal barriers to disruptive innovation. This breakthrough concept has been well received at international conferences.
