Julie Gerstle is a marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in both business-to-business and consumer markets. In her role as Business Development Leader, she leverages her experience in strategy development to help clients identify market gaps and opportunities, research competitive trends, develop business plans, and translate consumer needs into new and improved product offerings or services.

Prior to joining Innovationedge, Julie spent 6 years with IBM, most recently as a product manager for WebSphere Portal. In her various marketing roles, Julie developed a reputation for thorough analysis, strong team-building skills, and a drive to succeed. Key accomplishments include leading the planning and execution of a major re-packaging initiative for WebSphere Portal, as well as driving 30%+ revenue growth for two consecutive years as the product manager for Workplace Web Content Management.

Before IBM, Julie worked at BBDO in account management on the Wrigley’s Spearmint and Doublemint brands. There she tracked business results, recommended tactical promotions, led advertising campaigns, and authored a re-positioning strategy for Wrigley’s Spearmint.

Julie earned her MBA from Oxford University’s Said Business School, which places particular emphasis on entrepreneurship, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University.
