For example, in Brasilia, a small state in Brazil with 2.6 million people, a recent experiment has resulted in astounding economic advances and record low unemployment, even as much of the rest of the world struggles with recession and rising unemployment. The Federal District of Brasilia embarked on a revolutionary program in 2006 aimed at reducing bureaucracy and creating an environment for success. This required dramatic steps to advance education, infrastructure, and the rule of law. Improving financial resources (debt financing) for business is one of the next big priorities.
